Prince William County Public Schools, in cooperation with the Prince William Network, offers a series of lessons on integrating technology with curricular objectives and Virginia SOLs. The TECHKNOWLEDGEY ACADEMY lessons will be broadcast via satellite through VSEN and will consist of 15 hours of satellite instruction, 10 lessons of 1.5 hours each. These lessons will be broadcast from 3:30 - 5:00 PM on Mondays starting on October 1, 2001 and ending on December 3, 2001.

The ACADEMY web site features online registration, communications, assignments, discussions, notices, etc. Local school divisions are encouraged to form groups to assist teachers at the local level to adapt and extend techniques and examples presented in the lessons.  Teachers are encouraged to submit lesson plans and ideas, which may be reviewed and posted for access by all teachers.
