Upon successful completion of ACADEMY lessons, an electronic certificate will be awarded. The Virginia Department of Education recommends that each completed lesson receive 3 recertification points and that the entire ACADEMY receive 30 points (recertification points are awarded at the discretion of local school divisions). A certificate verifying the total number of recertification points awarded will be mailed to participants at the end of the program.
